LIVE - INTRUCTOR LED - INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL 75 HR. PRE LICENSE COURSE

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for a Georgia Real Estate Salesperson's License must meet certain requirements;

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • ​Must be a high school graduate or the holder of a certificate of equivalency.

  • Provide proof of completion of at least 75 hours of Pre-license course work approved by the real estate regulatory agency, including passing the final exam with a 75% or higher

  • Must pass the examination administered by PSI and approved by the Commission.

  • Must pay the appropriate fees as described below:

    • The examination fee of $175.00.

    • The license fee of $170.00

  • ​A copy of the applicant’s criminal history or Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) Report must be brought to the PSI testing center (not the Commission) prior to receiving a license

THE LICENSING PROCESS

STEP 1

Once you have reviewed the candidate requirements your first step in to register for and attend one of our Instructor-Led Virtual or In Person 75 Hr. Pre Licenses Courses. You must;

  1. Attend all sessions in order to complete the 75 Hrs.

  2. Take and pass the final exam with a minimum score of 75%

STEP 2

Upon registration you will receive your eBook "Modern Practices in Real Estate Georgia", access to our Online Student Resource Portal, and the Zoom link for class.

STEP 3

After successfully completing the course candidates must register for, take and pass with a minimum score of 75%, the Georgia Salesperson State Exam administered by PSI with offices located through-out Atlanta.

STEP 4

Activate your license with GREC. Interview at least three brokers to find a fit for you. Once you have aligned with a brokerage firm you must request a "Sponsoring Broker Form" from the broker in which you will affiliate your license. You must mail your application, GCIC, Passing text score, "Lawful Presence Affidavit" and "Sponsoring Broker Form" to the commission along with the activation FEE of $170.00

STEP 5

Receive your license certificate, license number and pocket card from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. At this point you are ready to start practicing real estate however, you must complete step 6.

STEP 6

Within 6 months of activating your license new licensees should register for a state approved 25 Hour Post license, licensees must take and pass an accredited course within one year of activating the license. Failure to comply could result in a license lapse.
