Candidates for a Georgia Real Estate Salesperson's License must meet certain requirements;

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be a high school graduate or the holder of a certificate of equivalency.

Provide proof of completion of at least 75 hours of Pre-license course work approved by the real estate regulatory agency, including passing the final exam with a 75% or higher

Must pass the examination administered by PSI and approved by the Commission.

Must pay the appropriate fees as described below:

The examination fee of $175.00.

The license fee of $170.00

A copy of the applicant’s criminal history or Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) Report must be brought to the PSI testing center (not the Commission) prior to receiving a license
THE LICENSING PROCESS
STEP 4
Activate your license with GREC. Interview at least three brokers to find a fit for you. Once you have aligned with a brokerage firm you must request a "Sponsoring Broker Form" from the broker in which you will affiliate your license. You must mail your application, GCIC, Passing text score, "Lawful Presence Affidavit" and "Sponsoring Broker Form" to the commission along with the activation FEE of $170.00
